From AI Studios and GPU\-as\-a\-Service to cloud cost management and developer platforms, Vayu Cloud is shaping the future of enterprise cloud in India and beyond. **Role Overview** We are looking for a Lead Product Designer to shape the end\-to\-end user experience of Vayu Cloud, Tata Communications’ next\-generation AI\-native cloud platform. This role will drive product\-led growth (PLG), simplify complex cloud workflows, and build world\-class, developer\-first experiences across Cloud and AI Studio. You will work at the intersection of AI, Cloud Infrastructure, and Enterprise UX, defining how users discover, onboard, build, and scale on Vayu. **Key Responsibilities** 1\. Product Experience Leadership * Own end\-to\-end UX for key platform areas: Cloud Console, AI Studio, Developer Workflows * Translate complex infra/AI capabilities into intuitive, self\-serve experiences * Drive consumer\-grade UX in enterprise cloud products 2\. PLG \& Onboarding Excellence Design frictionless signup onboarding* provisioning journeys * Reduce dependency on support teams through self\-serve UX * Enable “minutes to provision” vs traditional delays 3\. AI\-Native Experience Design * Define interaction models for AI copilots (Ask Vayu), automation, and agentic workflows * Design AI\-assisted setup, recommendations, and observability experiences * Shape the future of AI\-first cloud interfaces 4\. Design System \& Consistency * Build and scale a unified design system across platform and website * Ensure consistency, scalability, and speed of execution * Establish Minimal Futurism visual language for Vayu 5\. Research \& Data\-Driven UX * Institutionalize SUS, task success rate, time\-to\-provision, error recovery * Conduct user research with developers, DevOps, ML engineers * Benchmark against AWS, GCP, Azure, DigitalOcean 6\. Cross\-Functional Leadership * Collaborate with Product, Engineering, PMM, Sales * Influence product strategy through design thinking and user insights * Lead design reviews and mentor designers **Required Qualifications** * 6 to 10 years in Product Design (B2B / SaaS / Cloud / Developer tools) * Proven experience designing complex platforms or infra products * Strong portfolio demonstrating: * + End\-to\-end product thinking + Simplification of complex workflows + Scalable design systems * Experience with: * + Developer\-first products / APIs / cloud platforms + AI/ML product experiences (preferred) + Data\-informed design and experimentation **Skills \& Competencies** * Systems thinking and information architecture mastery * Strong interaction design for complex workflows * Ability to balance UX, business, and technical constraints * High ownership and product mindset * Excellent communication with senior leadership
