Knorr\-Bremse started its operation in India in 1993 and relocated to Palwal location in 2013, which is set up to cater to the growing demand in the Indian market. Knorr\-Bremse has built a state of the art manufacturing facility spread over 17 Acres of land situated at 51/4 KM stone at main Mathura Road near Palwal. With optimized plant logistics and an improved working environment for employees, the new facility was built with an eye on maintaining the ecological balance. The plant conforms to Green building norms with energy\-efficient air\-conditioning and a high level of insulation. This helps reduce its carbon footprint, which the company considers a part of its environment sustainability. Position Title Data Analytics Engineer Reports to Manager, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence Summary/Objective Develops dashboards and reports that help in the decision\-making process. Contributes to process improvement, in innovation, logistics and/or production, aligned with defined quality guidelines. Study, analyze and understand business requirements in context to business intelligence while working with different business areas to design and develop data visualization solutions for decision\-making. 2\. Design and map multidimensional data models to shift raw data into meaningful insights. 3\. Responsible for the design/development of the dashboard and reports. 4\. Utilize Power BI to build interactive and visually appealing dashboards and reports. 5\. Analyze pervious and present data for better decision making. Identify and map opportunities for automation and/or digital solutions. 6\. Transform business requirements into technical publications. 7\. Develop strong data documentation about algorithms, parameters, models. 8\. Support strategic business projects and SCRUM agile business initiatives. 9\. Working as an internal specialist to support business end\-users and participate in the resolution of production problems related to the Microsoft Power BI platform and technologies. 10\. Must understand and support all Quality, Product Safety, and Health/Safety/Environmental/Energy policies. 11\. Must understand and adhere to all relevant statutory or regulatory compliance obligations. 12\. Must understand, support, and adhere to the Integrated Management System policies, procedures, and instructions. 13\. Must understand and support relevant key performance indicators (KPIs), as defined in the goal tree. Skills and Competencies 1\. Expert in Data Analytics and Dashboarding a. Advanced Power BI, Power Query, DAX, and database skills b. Familiar with ETL techniques like MS SQL Server Integration Services (SSIS) and Snowflake c. Advanced Excel knowledge 2\. Understanding of business processes and operational KPIs 3\. Ability to analyze, design and maintain new and old functions / features in Reports / Dashboards. 4\. Knowledge of SAP a plus 5\. Professional certificates (e.g., Data Science, Data Analyst) a plus 6\. Ability to multitask and manage multiple projects simultaneously. 7\. Communication Proficiency 8\. Analytical thinking 9\. Teamwork Supervisory Responsibility This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment The employee will be required to perform duties on a computer terminal. The employee may be exposed to shop floor conditions, i.e. noise, heat, cold, dust/dirt etc. Physical Demands The physical demands are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of an office work environment position. Required Education and Experience Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, data science, or related discipline Work Experience: 2\+ Years of Relevant Experience * Experience with Data extraction, Data modeling and Data Visualization * Experience with software development and database design. * Experience in working with agile development teams * Experience in working with cross\-functional teams * Key Figures (e.g. KPI): Supplier Delivery Reliability, Customer Delivery, Performance, Inventory Turnrate.
