At ECI, we believe success is driven by passion and purpose. Our passion for technology is only surpassed by our commitment to empowering our employees around the world.

The Opportunity:

ECI has an exciting opportunity for a Cloud Network Architect position to support several of our client's cloud infrastructure and networking systems. Ensuring client satisfaction is our highest priority, and all available positions are customer-facing, requiring exceptional communication and interpersonal skills. A professional, strong work ethic, and a positive attitude are essential for success in this role. Candidates must demonstrate fluency in English, both written and verbal, and exhibit the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear, client-friendly solutions.

This is Hybridposition.

What you will do:

  • Understand business requirements and convert them to technical design for implementation.
  • Develop and maintain cloud network architectures that support enterprise applications, services, and workloads across public, private, and hybrid cloud platforms.
  • Ensure reliable interconnectivity between on-premises infrastructure, cloud environments, and third-party services. Strong communication, analytical, and troubleshoot skills.
  • Monitor and enhance network performance, scalability, and cost efficiency through automation and advanced cloud-native tools.
  • Implement robust network security frameworks, including firewalls, VPNs, identity management, and compliance with industry standards.
  • Work independently as individual contributor with minimum or no help.
  • Lead end-to-end cloud network design reviews (HLD/LLD), produce implementation runbooks, and enforce architecture standards and best practices.
  • Own cloud network governance: IP addressing strategy, subnetting/VPC design, routing domains, DNS design, tagging/standards, and change control.
  • Drive incident/problem management for network issues across cloud and hybrid connectivity, including root-cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement.
  • Partner with security, platform, and application teams to integrate network controls (segmentation, egress filtering, private endpoints) and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Manage and coordinate third-party providers (ISPs/carriers, firewall/WAF vendors) for circuits, cloud interconnects, and managed services; validate SLAs and delivery timelines.
  • Build and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code patterns and CI/CD workflows for network changes (peer review, automated validation, drift detection, and rollback plans).
  • Perform network cost optimization (FinOps) by right-sizing gateways/firewalls, optimizing data transfer, and selecting appropriate connectivity patterns.
  • Follow Agile Methodology (SCRUM).

Who you are:

  • Experience: 10+ years in IT infrastructure or networking, with at least 5 years focused on cloud networking architecture.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field (Master’s preferred).
  • Client-Facing Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal abilities to engage directly with clients, explain complex technical concepts clearly, and build trusted relationships.
  • Professionalism: Positive attitude, rigorous work habits, and ability to thrive in high-pressure, customer-facing environments.
  • Language: Fluency in English, both written and verbal, is mandatory.
  • Leadership: Ability to mentor junior engineers, lead technical discussions, and drive architectural decisions.
  • Certifications (Preferred): CCNP/CCIE, AWS Advanced Networking, Azure Network Engineer Associate, or equivalent cloud/security certifications.
  • Operational Excellence: Experience with change management, incident response, post-incident reviews, and producing clear technical documentation/runbooks.
  • Problem-Solving: Analytical mindset with a focus on designing secure, scalable, and cost-effective solutions.

ECI’s culture is all about connection - connection with our clients, our technology and most importantly with each other. In addition to working with an amazing team around the world, ECI also offers a competitive compensation package and so much more!
