For more information, please visit https://www.russellinvestments.com. **Job Description:** ==================== We are seeking an accomplished Senior SDET I with 8–12 years of experience in quality engineering and test automation, ideally within the financial domain. This role requires a proven leader who can architect enterprise\-grade automation solutions, mentor junior engineers, and drive quality\-first practices across complex application ecosystems. You will collaborate with cross\-functional teams to ensure secure, scalable, and reliable financial applications while championing innovation in testing methodologies. **Key Responsibilities** * Lead quality engineering efforts across multiple agile teams, influencing design, development, and deployment strategies. * Architect and maintain enterprise\-level test automation frameworks for web, API, mobile, and backend systems. * Define and enforce quality standards, test strategies, and best practices across the organization. * Mentor and coach junior SDETs and QA engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. * Drive in\-sprint automation adoption, enabling faster release cycles and reducing defect leakage. * Collaborate with product managers, architects, and business stakeholders to align testing with business priorities. * Perform advanced functional, regression, integration, performance, and security testing. * Ensure end\-to\-end test coverage across UI, API, database, and services. * Provide executive\-level reporting on quality metrics, risks, and trends to leadership. * Champion innovation in automation tools, using AI, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices. **Required Skills \& Experience** * 8–12 years of experience in software testing and automation, with significant exposure to financial systems. * Strong programming expertise in C\# or Python * Hands\-on experience with modern automation tools (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, Appium). * Advanced API testing skills using Postman, RestAssured, or Karate. * Deep knowledge of CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, TeamCity, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps). * Strong SQL/database validation skills for financial transactions. * Exposure to Salesforce, Adobe AEM, or similar enterprise platforms preferred. * Experience with performance testing tools (JMeter, LoadRunner) is a plus. * Exposure/Experience on AI based Test Automation solution is a plus. **Candidate Requirements** * Proven ability to lead QA/SDET teams for enterprise projects. * Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and DevOps practices. * Ability to design testing strategy for large scale applications/enterprise programs. * Ability to design automation solutions at scale, ensuring maintainability and reusability. * Excellent troubleshooting skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. * Strong stakeholder management and ability to influence prioritization of quality initiatives. **Soft Skills \& Core Values** * Exceptional communication and leadership skills with clear, concise reporting. * Ownership mindset with accountability for quality outcomes. * Ability to thrive in a fast\-paced, agile environment. * Proactive problem\-solving, decision\-making, and innovation mindset. * Commitment to integrity, collaboration, and continuous learning. **Preferred Qualifications** * Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field. * Certifications in test automation, cloud technologies, or Agile methodologies are a plus.
