About the team: **Location** Bangalore, India **About the team** Kinaxis is on the lookout for a Senior Software Developer for the Algorithms team. The team consists of collaborative, high\-performing engineers with the mandate to build/enhance/maintain algorithms to optimize complex supply chains. Our algorithms move the global economy\- in minutes, not hours, or days. Our customers have terabytes of data that needs to be analyzed for the largest supply chains imaginable. If you are interested to solve these complex problems at scale, this is the place to be. About the role: **What you will do:** * Review and understand application features and interfaces. * Review product specification and requirements. * Collaborate closely with development partners and contribute to design and implementation of product features * Create test plan/strategies for new functionality. * Contribute to test improvement initiative by exploring new software test techniques and evolving automated test infrastructure. * Plan and implement new automated tests * Contribute to a variety of test activities throughout the feature development lifecycle, including maintaining test environments, triaging failures, etc. **Technologies we use:** * Python, PyTest * Docker, K8s * Jenkins **What we are looking for:** * Bachelors/master’s degree in computer science or equivalent * Total 8\+ years of industry experience, predominantly in development and testing of backend server applications * Strong Python programming experience * 2 years’ experience building and testing complex, enterprise\-grade web applications in a software product organization * Use of source control systems like Git * Worked with modern CI/CD pipelines and release processes * Strong communication, teamwork and interpersonal skills * Familiarity with use of AI tools like CoPilot, Claude in development, review and testing of production ready code. **Nice to have**: * Experience in Supply Chain network optimization is a definite plus * Knowledge of Cloud platforms like Azure/GCP * Familiarity with build tools like Jenkins or GHA is preferred \#Intermediate \#LI\-RJ1 Why join Kinaxis?: **Work With Impact:** Our platform directly helps companies power the world’s supply chains.
