Brief Job Overview
The Digital product engineering team at USP is seeking a Senior QA with expertise in building robust Data/ML pipelines, managing large-scale data infrastructure, and enabling advanced analytics capabilities. This role is critical to supporting projects that align with our mission to protect patient safety and improve the health of people around the world. We are looking for a professional who understands the value of clean, accessible, and well-organized data, and who enjoys designing systems that empower data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders to derive actionable insights. - Own and execute end‑to‑end QA activities (functional, regression, integration, UAT) across digital, AI, and BI products.
- Validate structured and unstructured data used in analytics, dashboards, and AI models for accuracy, completeness, and integrity.
- Test AI chatbot functionality, including conversational flows, intent recognition, entity extraction, and business logic.
- Review chatbot responses and conversation logs to identify errors, inconsistencies, bias, and compliance gaps.
- Validate pharmaceutical analytical tests, rules, methods, and standards represented in digital systems.
- Perform rigorous testing of Tableau/BI dashboards, including data sources, calculations, filters, and visualizations.
- Execute SQL‑based data validation across backend databases to ensure consistency between source data and UI outputs.
- Document test cases, test results, defects, and validation evidence; manage defect lifecycle through resolution.
- Maintain audit‑ready QA documentation, SOPs, and validation reports aligned with GxP expectations.
- Collaborate with Product Managers, Developers, Data Scientists, and UX teams to ensure clear requirements and test coverage.
- Support UAT sign‑off, release readiness, and quality reporting across environments.
- Continuously improve QA processes, tools, and testing practices for digital and AI‑enabled products.

Education
Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (e.g. Engineering, Analytics or Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics) or equivalent experience.
Experience
- 3+ years of QA/testing experience, preferably in pharmaceutical or analytical domains.
- Experience with scientific chemistry nomenclature or prior work experience in life sciences, chemistry, or hard sciences or degree in sciences
- Experience with pharmaceutical datasets and nomenclature
- Proven hands‑on experience in manual testing; automation exposure is a plus.
- Experience with data validation, SQL querying, and BI/dashboard testing.
- Familiarity with GxP regulations and audit‑ready documentation practices.
- Experience validating CI/CD test runs and quality gates
Additional Desired Preferences
- Experience testing AI‑enabled systems (chatbots, search, recommendations).
- Exposure to AWS (S3, EC2), PostgreSQL, API testing tools, and defect tracking systems.
- Experience with Tableau or Power BI.
- Interest and willingness to learn AI, automation, and modern digital testing approaches.
