About the role:.
The Senior Manager – Loan Syndication will be responsible for leading end-to-end syndicated loan operations, combining deep product knowledge, strong people leadership, and an automation-first mindset. The role will oversee large teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and drive operational excellence and transformation.

The team works closely with clients, syndicate members, and various stakeholders to structure and negotiate loan terms that meet the needs of all parties involved. What you will be doing:
Product & Domain Expertise
- Own end-to-end syndicated loan lifecycle including Asset Onboarding, trade entry/settlements, client service
- Act as subject matter expert on syndicated loan structures, agency role responsibilities, and documentation standards (LMA/LSTA)
- Handle complex escalations related to operations, accounting, and product interpretation
Leadership & Team Management
- Lead and manage teams of 50–70 members across levels
- Build strong leadership pipelines and succession planning
- Drive performance management, quality, productivity, and employee engagement
Automation & Transformation
- Champion automation, digitization, and process re-engineering initiatives
- Partner with technology teams to identify RPA, workflow, and AI-driven opportunities
- Track efficiency gains, quality improvements, and automation benefits
Risk, Controls & Compliance
- Ensure adherence to regulatory, audit, SOX, and internal control requirements
- Own issue management, audit responses, and risk mitigation
- Maintain robust SOPs, controls, and governance frameworks
Stakeholder Management
- Partner with other locations, clients, trustees and external agent banks
- Provide transparent communication on KPIs, risks, and delivery metrics
- Support transitions, migrations, and new product launches
Extended roles and responsibilities: -
- As part of management group, ensure that the extended scope of deliverables are met as per the agreed time lines.
- Represent the firm as FIS management lead in all possible scenarios facing the client irrespective it’s in purview of functional limits.
- Wok constantly towards building better client services through better processes and contribute for such initiative for the firm.
What you will need:
- Overall Experience: 15+ years
- Leadership Experience: Minimum 10 years
- Team Management: 50–70 members
- Strong knowledge of Loan Syndication
- Proven large-team leadership experience
- Strong automation and change management capability
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Qualifications
- Lean, Six Sigma, or Digital Transformation certifications preferred
