And of course, we are always looking for talented people to help us have a positive impact on our industry and beyond! **Barry Callebaut Digital (BC Digital)** is on a mission to lead the digital revolution in the chocolate industry, and we're looking for a global Senior Director of Analytics \& Insights to lay the foundation for Intelligent data\-driven decision making. Reporting directly to the Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO), you will have the unique opportunity to shape our digital future based on a data\-centric and intelligent decisioning approach. You will build and lead multiple teams enhancing our differentiating capabilities across analytics, data science, AI and automation. This position will play a key role in turning our aspirations of a digital transformation into reality and lifting Barry Callebaut to the next Level. **MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES \& SCOPE** The candidate will: * Oversee the **Advanced Analytics, Data Science, Innovation, Intelligent Automation and AI** at Bary Callebaut, directly reporting to the Chief Data Analytics Officer (CDAO). * **Lead and inspire the teams, partners and stakeholders** to create a culture of data\-driven operational excellence within Barry Callebaut. * Oversee the development, enhancement and management of **intelligent decisioning capabilities**, ensuring they meet business objectives and enhance user, customer and partner experience * Align **hub and spoke governance and processes** across Barry Callebaut on global, departmental and regional levels. * **Prioritize initiatives based on business value** and steer the implementation of new technologies. * Supporting the business in the **delivery of projects and transformations**. * **Collaborate with business, Digital and data teams** to jointly transform the data \& analytics landscape of Barry Callebaut and ensure alignment with Barry Callebaut’s overall digital transformation. * **Create an effective partner ecosystem** to create and deliver multi\-year roadmaps. **Scope:** * This is a global leadership role based in India, with key stakeholders located in Belgium, UK, India, Switzerland, Singapore, and other locations of our global footprint. * Will have responsibility for global delivery partners and external ecosystem relationships. **EDUCATION, LANGUAGE, SKILLS \& QUALIFICATIONS** * Graduate degree in IT/technology, data, computer science, engineering, business administration or a comparable field * Proficient in English **ADDITIONAL CONSIDERATIONS OR COMMENTS** * Travel requirements: Global role requires ability and willingness to travel (up to 25%) * Others: none **Section 2 \- CANDIDATE PROFILE** **ESSENTIAL EXPERIENCE \& KNOWLEDGE / TECHNICAL OR FUNCTIONAL COMPETENCIES** * Significant experience in building and leading in analytics and AI teams in the food \& beverages / manufacturing industry (additional relevant industry experience is a plus). * Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience of which 10\+ years in managing multi\-cultural, dispersed teams in senior roles. * Experienced in transforming a data and analytics organization towards best\-in\-class analytics capabilities. * Deep understanding of roles, processes and technologies around analytics including related trends. * The ability to bring people together and mobilize individuals to pursue a joint agenda. * Demonstrated success in leading diverse teams \& driving change in a collaborative way on a global scale. * Independent and self\-driven personality. * Skills to create internal and external partnerships/networks across the organization. **LEADERSHIP COMPETENCIES \& PERSONAL STYLE** The ideal candidate… * Exhibits a passion for data\-centric technology and innovation, constantly seeking new and creative solutions to enhance processes, decision\-making and user experiences. * Embraces agile methodologies and flexible thinking to adapt to changing digital trends and business needs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and learning. * Puts a strong emphasis on teamwork and cross\-functional collaboration, with the ability to build and maintain relationships across different levels of the organization and with external partners. * Possesses good communication skills, capable of complex strategies in a clear and persuasive manner to stakeholders at all levels, including non\-technical audiences. * Demonstrates ability to analyze complex situations, identify critical issues, and make bold, strategic decisions to drive progress. * Inspires and motivates teams, encouraging innovation and ownership, while providing guidance and support to achieve high performance and meet transformation goals. * Maintains focus and composure in the face of setbacks, showing resilience and the ability to pivot strategies as necessary in response to new challenges and opportunities. * Champions diversity and inclusion, creating an environment where all team members feel valued and can contribute to their full potential, while adhering to high ethical standards in all decisions and actions. * Prioritizes the customer experience in all data initiatives, ensuring that solutions meet customer needs and enhance satisfaction. **ADDITIONAL COMMENTS / CONTEXT OF THE ROLE** * This is a **strategically critical role** within Barry Callebaut Digital to accelerate **Barry Callebaut’s Intelligent Analytics, Automation and AI transformation**.
