V&A Hosting Engineer

Role Summary:

As part of the Hosting Migration Engineering Team, this role supports hosting integration and cloud migration activities. The engineer will execute standardized migration approaches and collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and efficient transitions to Accenture’s hosting platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Execute migration plans for legacy systems to cloud-based hosting platforms.

Support infrastructure sizing and deployment for compute and storage.

Assist in securing cloud environments and implementing backup solutions.

Participate in virtual teams to coordinate migration tasks across time zones.

Document migration processes and contribute to solution blueprints.

Must-Have Skills:

Cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) with good hands on experience with couple of migration tools i.e. Azure Migrate, AWS MGN, Carbonite, HCX etc.,

Good hands-on with virtualization (VMware, Hyper-V, Nutanix).

Hands on experience configuring backup policies, Data Migration, Building a cloud infrastructure and cloud Network.

Hands on experience with containerized environment - deploy, migrate, standardize.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

Exposure to serverless computing, and orchestration tools.

Good understanding of DevOps and automation (Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible).

Team Management:

This is an execution-focused role with no team management responsibilities.

• The candidate should have minimum 3.5 years of experience in Cloud Design and Build.
• This position is based at our Mumbai/Bengaluru/Chennai/Coimbatore/Gurugram/Hyderabad
• A 15 years full time education is required.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
