As a Welder at Envirotec, you will play a crucial role in the fabrication, repair, and maintenance of various components and systems, ensuring that they meet our high standards of safety and quality. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Welding and Fabrication:** Perform various welding techniques (MIG, TIG, Stick, and Flux Core) to fabricate, repair, and modify metal parts and structures in compliance with engineering drawings and specifications. * **Blueprint Interpretation:** Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and welding symbols to accurately determine welding requirements and ensure precise execution. * **Quality Control:** Conduct thorough inspections of welds and structures to ensure adherence to quality standards, including strength, durability, and appearance. * **Equipment Maintenance:** Maintain and operate welding equipment safely, performing regular inspections and troubleshooting to minimize downtime. * **Safety Compliance:** Ensure all welding activities are conducted safely by following OSHA and company safety standards, maintaining a clean and organized work environment. * **Collaboration:** Work closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to meet project deadlines and quality expectations. * **Material Handling:** Safely handle and prepare materials, ensuring proper storage and organization to prevent damage and loss. * **Repairs \& Modifications:** Perform welding repairs and modifications on existing equipment, structures, or systems as necessary to ensure operational efficiency. * **Documentation \& Reporting:** Keep accurate records of work performed, including welding techniques, materials used, and completed inspections for quality control and compliance purposes. **Qualifications:** * **Education:** High School diploma or equivalent required; Welding certification (e.g., AWS, CWB) preferred. * **Experience:** Minimum of \[X] years of experience in welding, fabrication, or similar fields.
