This Position reports to: Financial Planning \& Analysis Manager### **About the Role** ------------------ The FP\&A \- Power BI Specialist will be a key member of the Motion FP\&A Center of Excellence Team reporting to Motion FP\&A Manager, responsible for designing, developing, and delivering automated business intelligence solutions and financial analytics dashboards. This role bridges FP\&A requirements with advanced data visualization and analytics capabilities, supporting faster decision\-making across multiple LSUs, regions, and global divisions. You will transition Motion FP\&A from manual reporting to automated, real\-time analytics, enabling data\-driven business insights. **Key Responsibilities** ------------------------ * Design and develop Power BI dashboards and analytics solutions tailored to Motion FP\&A and operational requirements * Create automated reporting frameworks that reduce manual effort and improve reporting accuracy and timeliness * Perform data modeling, ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes, and DAX coding to support complex financial analytics * Collaborate with Finance, Business Analytics, and Digital teams to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions * Support integration between operational systems and Power BI within the Central Finance (CFIN) architecture * Develop dashboards for specific management needs such as: Inventory liquidation status and slow\-moving stock alerts, Factory\-to\-LSU transaction monitoring and reconciliation, Profitability and margin analysis across products and segments, Working capital and operational performance metrics * Maintain and optimize existing BI solutions for performance and user experience * Share and reuse solutions across divisions and regions through the Bangalore CoE to maximize value delivery. Provide training and support to FP\&A stakeholders on dashboard usage and self\-service analytics capabilities. Stay current with Power BI updates, best practices, and emerging analytics trends **Qualifications for the role** ------------------------------- * Bachelor's degree in Business Analytics, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field * Certifications/Domain knowledge in Finance will be considered as plus * 3\-6 years of experience in business intelligence, financial analytics, or FP\&A support * Experience with other BI tools (Tableau, Qlik, or similar), Certifications in Power BI or data analytics * Familiarity with centralized data platforms and cloud\-based solutions * Strong expertise in DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) and M queries. Experience with data modeling and star schema design.
