Your future role
Take on a new challenge and apply your expertise in product management and innovation in a cutting-edge field. You’ll work alongside a collaborative and forward-thinking team, driving impactful projects that shape the future of smarter mobility solutions.
You'll play a crucial role in shaping our product strategies, ensuring alignment with customer needs, and driving the development and lifecycle management of our products. Day-to-day, you’ll work closely with teams across the business, including Program Managers, Technical Managers, Tender Leaders, and Domain Directors, to ensure the successful execution of product strategies, manage product documentation, and oversee the product lifecycle. You’ll also support customer demonstrations, pre-tendering activities, and much more.
You’ll specifically take ownership of developing and maintaining the product roadmap and ensuring the quality, cost, and delivery (QCD) of your product, but also support the project team during execution and manage global product documentation and training materials.
We’ll look to you for:
- Collecting customer needs and analyzing market trends with support from the Regions
- Conducting competitor benchmarking and defining Key Value Parameters (KVPs) for the product
- Developing and maintaining the product roadmap, from market and R&D requirements to end-of-life
- Managing lifecycle status, including Phase-In/Phase-Out processes
- Proposing new R&D developments and technology roadmaps
- Providing product knowledge, training, and support during pre-tendering, tender execution, and project execution phases
- Ensuring product quality and performance, including change management and safety monitoring
- Collaborating with Services to optimize maintainability and support spare parts sales

- Master’s degree in a technical field and/or project management
- Experience in the railway industry with an operational background
- At least 5+ years of experience in project management or product management
- Engineering background with a full lifecycle view of product deployment
- Knowledge of products and services across different market segments
- Understanding of economics and financial aspects in an R&D environment (e.g., ROI, decision-making)
- Proficiency in the product development process
- Strong communication skills and a proactive, team-oriented approach
- Ability to build and maintain a network of contacts across the business
- Business fluency in English
