**Market Risk \& Controls Analyst (Business Analyst – Risk)** **Location:** Pune **Job Overview:** We are looking for a *Market Risk \& Controls Analyst* with strong analytical capabilities and exposure to financial markets. This role sits at the intersection of **Risk Management and Business Analysis**, requiring a candidate who can interpret data, evaluate controls, and translate insights into meaningful business outcomes. **Key Responsibilities:** * Monitor and support **Market Risk**, **Counterparty Credit Risk**, and **Product Control** processes. * Analyze risk data and generate insights to support business and control decisions. * Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into actionable risk and control improvements. * Design, review, and enhance control frameworks within a trading/markets environment. * Identify risks, gaps, and inefficiencies, and recommend mitigation strategies. * Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for risk monitoring and governance. * Communicate findings clearly and escalate critical issues in a timely manner. * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams including risk, operations, and technology. **Required Skills \& Qualifications:** * Experience in **Market Risk / Counterparty Credit Risk / Product Control / Risk Analytics**. * Strong understanding of financial markets and trading products. * Good exposure to **data analysis and business analysis** techniques. * Proficiency in **Microsoft Excel** (advanced level). * Working knowledge of **Python, SQL, Tableau**, or other analytics/visualization tools is a plus. * Strong problem\-solving and analytical thinking abilities. * Excellent communication skills with the ability to present complex insights in a structured manner. * Strong attention to detail and high level of integrity. **Preferred Profile:** * Candidates with a blend of **Risk \+ Data \+ Business Analysis** experience. * Ability to bridge the gap between business stakeholders and technical/data teams. * Experience in banking, financial services, or trading environments preferred.
