Mindtickle is recognized as a market leader by top industry analysts and is ranked by G2 as the #1 sales onboarding and training product.

As a Design Engineer at Mindtickle, you are someone who moves fluently between design and code, brings design intent to life with precision, and raises the bar for what "shipped" looks like. You'll co-own our design system in code, prototype ideas before they're fully specced, and be the connective tissue between design thinking and production reality.

This is a new role: part interaction designer, part product builder, part systems thinker, part hacker, part artist. If this is you, continue reading!

Key Responsibilities

  • Build high-fidelity interactive prototypes that go beyond what design tools alone can express: motion, data states, edge cases for both web and mobile.
  • Use AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, v0) to accelerate prototype velocity without sacrificing quality or craft
  • Own and evolve Mindtickle's UI component library and maintain tight parity between Figma components and production-quality front-end code
  • Define and govern design tokens, theming, and accessibility standards across the design system
  • Participate in design reviews and provide implementation-aware feedback early in the process
  • Explore emerging UI patterns, trends and AI-native UX paradigms, so you keep yourself and the design team up to date.
  • Create POC’s that push what's possible in our product experience. Show the art of the possible and challenge our teams.
  • Raise the design team's technical capabilities and understanding by sharing learnings and building a culture of craft.

What we are looking for

  • 8–10+ years working at the intersection of design and frontend engineering. Your portfolio must show both sides of the craft.
  • Production-level proficiency in React, TypeScript, and CSS. You can write code that ships, but you can also whip up a quick experiment or demo.
  • Deep Figma fluency: component architecture, variables, auto-layout, Dev Mode. The whole thing.
  • Hands-on experience building and maintaining a design system in a product company
  • Strong command of motion, micro-interactions, and visual polish. You notice things others miss and know how to add delight to experiences.
  • Comfortable using AI coding tools (Cursor, Claude Code, v0…) as part of your everyday workflow
  • Solid understanding of accessibility (WCAG), responsive/mobile design, and performance tradeoffs
  • You are a UI artist who thinks like a designer and builds like an engineer
  • Clear communicator who can articulate design and technical tradeoffs to various audiences

What we offer

  • Design-first environment where you sit within the design team, where craft is taken seriously
  • Real ownership of the design system end-to-end, with influence over how design and engineering collaborate
  • AI-native culture with space to experiment and shape how we use these tools well.
  • 24 Design colleagues, in Product Design, UX Research & Content Design.
  • Work on a high-impact product used daily by thousands of sales teams at enterprise-level companies around the world.
  • MacBook Pro and tools, subscriptions & tokens you need to get the job done.
  • Competitive compensation & benefits.
