As Data Analyst - Financial Systems , you will support the design, development, and operation of enterprise-grade data platforms, with a primary focus on Snowflake/data platform-based analytics solutions.

This is a key role responsible for supporting data ingestion, transformation, modeling, and analytical reporting across multiple source systems (SAP ECC/S4, Central Finance, OneStream, and other enterprise platforms). You will play a critical role in ensuring data accuracy, consistency, performance, and reporting/consumption readiness between source and target systems.

The role requires hands-on ownership of SQL-based data models, data validations, reconciliations/tie-outs, and curated analytical datasets/models, while partnering closely with Finance, Technology, Master Data and Analytics teams to support timely reporting, strategic insights, and on demand analysis.

Our Team

You will be part of the Global Financial Systems team, working at the intersection of Finance, ERP systems, and modern cloud data platforms .

What You Will Do

  • Support data platform operations, including data ingestion, transformations, and analytics-ready datasets
  • Develop and maintain SQL-based data models, views, stored procedures and analytical tables for reporting and dashboard consumption
  • Perform data reconciliations and tie-outs between Snowflake, SAP (ECC/S4), Central Finance, OneStream, and other source systems to ensure accuracy, integrity and completeness
  • Monitor and support data pipelines and scheduled jobs, identifying failures, data quality issues, and performance bottlenecks
  • Document data definitions, business logic, and transformation rules to enable transparency and reusability
  • Escalate data issues, variances, and root-cause findings with clear analysis and recommendations
  • Identify opportunities to automate, optimize, or standardize data processes within the platform
  • Deliver responsibilities in line with defined timelines, quality standards, and governance practices
  • Partner with reporting and analytics teams to support Power BI / Tableau dashboards and standardized reporting packages
  • Participate in daily/weekly working sessions, providing status updates on assigned deliverables and risks
  • Build working knowledge of financial and operational data including Transactions, Trial Balance, P&L, Balance Sheet, and other management reporting packages

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • in data analytics, data engineering, reporting, or analytics platform support
  • Strong hands-on experience with SQL, including complex joins, window functions, and performance optimization
  • Experience working with cloud data platforms, preferably Snowflake
  • Exposure to ERP or Finance data (SAP ECC/S4, Central Finance, OneStream, or similar systems)
  • Understanding of data modeling concepts (fact/dimension tables, aggregations, analytical layers)
  • Ability to perform data validation, reconciliation, and root-cause analysis
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to work across technical and business teams
  • Demonstrated ability to execute independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Exposure to ETL/ELT tools and orchestration frameworks (e.g., Snowflake tasks, Airflow, DBT, or similar)
  • Experience supporting finance and management reporting use cases using enterprise data platforms
  • Hands-on experience with Power BI, Tableau, or other BI tools
  • Understanding of financial transactions, data aggregation for a reporting ready layer, P&L, variance analysis, and management reporting
  • Knowledge on AI/ML tools, Python/R
  • Strong analytical thinking, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail
  • Proactive mindset, high ownership, and a willingness to learn and take initiative
  • Familiarity with data governance, data quality frameworks, and documentation standards
