About Position:

We are looking for a skilled Python & Azure AI Engineer to build cloud-native, serverless, and AI-powered solutions on Microsoft Azure. The role requires hands-on experience with Azure integration services, Azure AI (Cognitive Search), and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) concepts to deliver intelligent, scalable applications.

What You'll Do:

• Design and develop backend services and APIs using Python.
• Build and manage cloud-native solutions using Azure Services, including: Azure API Management (APIM) Azure Functions.
• Develop intelligent search and retrieval solutions using Azure AI Services – Cognitive Search Implement RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) patterns for AI-driven applications.
• Work with document processing pipelines using Document Intelligence (basic exposure) Integrate AI services with backend systems and frontend consumers.
• Design and consume REST APIs through APIM Ensure performance, scalability, security, and reliability of solutions.
• Collaborate with architects, data scientists, and product teams.
• Participate in code reviews, debugging, and production support Prepare technical documentation and solution designs

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Strong hands-on experience with Python Experience with Azure API Management (APIM). Hands-on development using Azure Functions Experience with Azure AI Services, especially: Cognitive Search Basic.
• Understanding of Azure Document Intelligence.
• Sound knowledge of RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) concepts and implementations
• Understanding of REST APIs and cloud integration patterns.
• Good to Have Skills Experience integrating LLMs with Azure services.
• Exposure to vector databases and embeddings.
• Knowledge of containerization (Docker) or Azure DevOps pipelines.
• Experience in AI/ML-powered application development Frontend exposure (Angular/React) is a plus.
• Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
