**About the Role** We're looking for a seasoned Database Lead with 8–10 years of hands\-on experience in PL/SQL, Oracle, and MS SQL Server to anchor our data infrastructure. You'll own database architecture decisions, mentor junior DBAs, and drive performance across mission\-critical systems. If you thrive on writing razor\-sharp queries, designing bulletproof schemas, and keeping databases running at peak performance — we want to talk. **What You'll Do** * Lead database design, modeling, and schema architecture across Oracle and MS SQL Server environments * Write and optimize complex T\-SQL and PL/SQL queries, stored procedures, triggers, functions, and views * Own database administration — security management, user access, backup \& recovery, monitoring, and performance tuning * Analyze query execution plans, implement indexing strategies, and drive continuous performance optimization * Build and maintain data integration pipelines using SSIS or other ETL tools * Develop reports and dashboards using SSRS, Power BI, or similar reporting platforms * Troubleshoot and debug database issues across production environments * Automate routine tasks and deployments using PowerShell, Python, or other scripting languages * Manage database schema changes and scripts through Git\-based version control * Ensure compliance with database security best practices, including authentication, authorization, encryption, and regulatory requirements (IRDAI awareness is a plus) * Collaborate with cross\-functional teams to gather requirements and translate technical concepts for non\-technical stakeholders **What You Bring** * 8–10 years of professional experience working with Oracle DB and Microsoft SQL Server * Deep proficiency in SQL, T\-SQL, and PL/SQL — including complex query writing and optimization * Strong background in database design, normalization, indexing, and relationship modeling * Proven experience with database administration tasks at scale * Hands\-on experience with SSIS or equivalent ETL tools for data integration * Familiarity with reporting tools such as SSRS or Power BI * Working knowledge of Git or similar version control systems * Scripting ability in PowerShell, Python, or similar languages * Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and analytical skills * Strong communication and collaboration skills — you can explain a deadlock to a developer and a data model to a product manager with equal clarity * A genuine passion for staying current with evolving database technologies and best practices **Nice to Have** * Experience with IRDAI or similar regulatory compliance frameworks * Exposure to cloud\-based database services (AWS RDS, Azure SQL) * Team leadership or mentorship experience Job Type: Permanent Pay: ₹160,000\.00 per month Experience: * Database development: 8 years (Required) * PL/SQL: 8 years (Required) Work Location: In person
