About the Role – Sr. Platform Designer (Demo Services)

In this role, you will be part of a high-performing team that shapes the future of Xactly’s Sales Experience**. You will sit at the intersection of design, engineering, and storytelling, ensuring that every demo asset and Proof of Concept (POC) meets world-class UI/UX standards. While you will be a power user of the Xactly Design System (XDS), your focus will be on pushing the limits of our platform components to create modern, visionary interfaces—including cutting-edge** AI-first experiences**. You will collaborate across teams to solve complex challenges and contribute to delivering high-impact outcomes for customers and stakeholders.**

What You’ll Do

• Design Modern Demo Assets & POCs: Lead the UI/UX strategy for all global demo environments, ensuring a "Gold Standard" look and feel that differentiates Xactly in the market.

• Master and Push Platform Boundaries: Become an expert in the Xactly component library to build innovative, high-fidelity prototypes that maximize current capabilities and explore "the art of the possible."

• Architect AI-First Experiences: Design and refine user journeys for AI-driven features (e.g., predictive forecasting, generative insights), ensuring Xactly’s market-leading AI capabilities are intuitive and visually compelling.

• Bridge Design and Engineering: Partner closely with Demo Engineers, AI Labs, and Solutions Consulting to translate abstract business requirements into interactive, user-friendly prototypes under tight sales deadlines.

---

• Advocate for Field Innovation: Act as a strategic liaison to core UX and Product teams, providing feedback on component usability and advocating for new patterns or tokens needed to win in the field.

• Leverage Advanced Design Tooling: Utilize the latest technology, including Figma AI and generative design plugins, to increase the efficiency and quality of the design-to-demo pipeline.

What We’re Looking For

Must-Have Skills

• Systems Thinking & Visual Craft: 4–6+ years of UX/UI experience with a strong foundation in building or utilizing complex Design Systems (components, variants, and tokens).

• Figma Power User: Expert-level proficiency in Figma (including Auto Layout, Variables, and modern AI-assisted features) to build rapidly and maintain scalable demo kits.

---

• Technical Literacy: A strong understanding of CSS, HTML, and modern frameworks (like React) to collaborate effectively with Demo Services and R&D teams.

---

• Rapid Prototyping: Proven experience in fast-paced environments, turning concepts into high-fidelity, interactive prototypes that solve complex business challenges.

---

• Collaborative Advocacy: Strong communication skills with a track record of partnering across functions (UX, Product, Engineering) to influence platform roadmaps.

---

Good-to-Have Skills

• AI/ML Interface Design: Experience designing for AI features, such as conversational interfaces, predictive analytics, or automated insights.

• Domain Expertise: Knowledge of Sales Performance Management (SPM), including forecasting, quota setting, or incentive compensation.

---

• Data Visualization: A talent for designing complex, data-heavy dashboards that prioritize clarity, modern aesthetics, and actionable insights.
