Job Description:

We are looking for a detail-oriented Automation Test Engineer with 2–3 years of experience in Java and Selenium-based test automation. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in designing and maintaining hybrid automation frameworks and a strong understanding of software testing principles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products through robust automation practices.

Core Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts using Java and Selenium WebDriver
• Work with Hybrid Frameworks (Data-Driven + Keyword-Driven)
• Analyze requirements and create test scenarios, test cases, and test scripts
• Execute automated and manual test cases and analyze results
• Identify, log, and track defects using bug tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and QA team members
• Participate in code reviews and improve automation best practices
• Maintain test data and ensure reusability of automation scripts
• Integrate automation tests with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins or similar tools)

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in Java programming
• Hands-on experience with Selenium WebDriver
• Experience in TestNG / JUnit frameworks
• Knowledge of Hybrid Framework design (Data Driven + Keyword Driven)
• Good understanding of OOP concepts
• Experience with Maven/Gradle build tools
• Familiarity with Git or version control systems
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies

Good to have skills:

• Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions)
• Knowledge of REST Assured for API automation
• Exposure to Docker or cloud-based testing platforms
• Basic performance testing knowledge

Soft Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks

Education:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field
