Business Development Manager – Sales
Full-Time | Chennai, India | 1–3 Years Experience | Target-Based Role

ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our growing sales team. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and consistently meeting revenue targets. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Identify, prospect, and convert new business opportunities through outbound and inbound sales efforts.
- Pitch and present company products/services to potential clients with confidence and persuasion.
- Negotiate pricing, and terms to close deals effectively.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships to maximize retention and upsell potential.
- Consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery for new clients.
- Track pipeline and sales activity using CRM tools and report regularly to management.
- Work within team deadlines and contribute actively to team sales goals.

REQUIREMENTS
- 1–3 years of experience in Business Development, Sales, or a client-facing role.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and fluency in any one regional language ( Tamil, Hindi Telugu and kannada )
- Strong negotiation and convincing skills with a proven ability to close deals.
- Comfortable in a high-accountability, target-driven sales environment.
- Ability to manage multiple leads and meet deadlines consistently.
- Strong team player with a proactive and ownership-driven work ethic.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Multilingual skills are highly appreciated.
- Prior experience with Bulk SMS and Bulk WhatsApp platforms is a significant added advantage.
- Familiarity with CPaaS, messaging tools, or digital marketing platforms is a plus.
