**Title : Backend Developer – API \& Orchestration (Django / PostgreSQL / Redis**) **(3\+ years experience)** **Location: Chennai** **About UsMathiVerse** is a SaaS company building its own marketing product to help businesses scale their go\-to\-market efforts. We also run a marketing agency, **GTMVerse**, providing end\-to\-end marketing and growth services. **The Role** We’re looking for a skilled **Backend Developer** to design, develop, and maintain our API and orchestration services using **Django, PostgreSQL, and Redis**. You’ll be responsible for building scalable REST APIs, implementing background job orchestration, and ensuring smooth communication between system components and third\-party integrations. **What You’ll Do** * Design and develop **REST APIs** using **Django / Django REST Framework** * Create and maintain **PostgreSQL schemas, migrations, and queries** with a focus on performance * Manage background jobs and queues using **Celery \+ Redis** * Integrate with **third\-party APIs** for data retrieval and processing * Implement caching and optimization strategies for fast response times * Collaborate with frontend engineers to define API contracts * Write **unit and integration tests** to ensure high code quality * Work with DevOps to deploy, monitor, and optimize backend services **What We’re Looking For** * **3\+ years** of experience with **Django / Django REST Framework** * Strong SQL skills and a solid understanding of **PostgreSQL performance tuning** * Experience with **Redis** for caching and task queues * Experience integrating **REST APIs** with third\-party services * Familiarity with **Docker and Git** workflows * Working knowledge of **Flask and FastAPI** **What We Offer** * Opportunity to take ownership and build the product from the ground up * Collaborative and inclusive team environment * Open culture with a flat hierarchy * Strong learning and growth opportunities Work Location: In person
