Summary:

As a Custom Software Engineer, you will engage in the development of custom software solutions that are designed to meet specific business needs. Your typical day will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, code, and enhance various components across systems or applications. You will utilize modern frameworks and agile practices to ensure the delivery of scalable and high-performing solutions, while also addressing any challenges that arise during the development process. Your role will require a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to continuous improvement in software development practices.

Roles & Responsibilities:

Responsible for developing and enhancing SAP on the Material Management areas / S4 Purchasing (MM-PO-AP).

Analyze, design, construct, test, and implement system or application enhancements

Understand customer s business implications and incorporate understanding into technical and process improvement recommendations.

Duties may include evaluating vendor products, troubleshooting, writing functional and program specifications, developing test procedures, configuring SAP, creating project plans, and documenting system processes.

Candidates must demonstrate good interpersonal skills, provide analysis of business processes and enhancement opportunities, such as process decomposition and root cause analysis for problems.

Ensure proper communication and collaboration with teams on related projects in order to ensure successful integration with the SAP solution.

Professional & Technical Skills:

Bachelor degree (or higher) with 4-6 years of experience in SAP MM.

Candidate must possess a customer focus, strong interpersonal and presentation skills, business analysis capabilities and relationship management skills.

Outstanding teamwork, organizational and interpersonal skills, with tremendous attention to detail.

Experience in SAP MM (PO & Invoice) modules (usually at around 7+ years) – Standard P2P portions and Vendor invoices.

Should have good knowledge of interfaces, integration with SAP module-FI.

Should have worked in Procurement to Pay, Purchasing and MM-FI associated transactions.

Configuration of SAP MM module in IMG based on business requirements

Extensive knowledge of SAP standard user transactions and customizing options.

Prior experience with ASAP or related project management methodology is plus.

Looking for improvement opportunities in business systems

Assisting in testing process in order to discover errors and issues in business processes, documentation

Application support and training of end users

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 4.6 years of experience in SAP MM Materials Management.
• This position is based at our Hyderabad office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
