In the role of Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. This includes guiding teams through the entire development lifecycle, from initial design concepts to final delivery. The role requires ensuring that development standards are maintained, and that the software produced meets expectations for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous evaluation and improvement of software processes to support evolving organizational needs.

• Responsible for team decisions.
• Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
• Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
• Lead the establishment and enforcement of development standards to ensure high-quality deliverables.
• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among cross-functional teams to drive project success.
• Mentor and support junior team members to foster professional growth and skill development.
• Continuously assess and improve software architecture to enhance system scalability and performance.

Professional & Technical Skills:

• Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• Good To Have Skills: Experience with SAP ABAP Cloud, SAP MM Materials Management, SAP FI S/4HANA Central Finance.
• Strong knowledge of SAP ABAP programming techniques and best practices for HANA environments.
• Experience in designing and implementing scalable and efficient custom software solutions within SAP landscapes.
• Ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Familiarity with performance tuning and optimization of SAP ABAP code in HANA systems.

Additional Information:

• The candidate should have minimum 5 years of experience in SAP ABAP Development for HANA.
• This position is based at our Pune office.
• A 15 years full time education is required.
