Job Description

The UI Designer – will be part of product team within simulationHub division of CCTech. Main responsibility will be to take ownership of product design (UI/UX) and product definition (user workflow wise) while considering all internal and external stakeholder inputs. The role will have UI/UX design responsibilities for entire portfolio of simulationHub web products and in some cases custom product as per industry/client/project requirements

Some key aspects of this role are ability to understand user behaviour, business requirements, and translating them into seamless digital interfaces Responsibilities

• User Experience (UX)
• Understand product requirements and translate them into user workflows, wireframes, and prototypes.
• Understand engineering workflows, operational processes, and system requirements Conduct user research, usability testing, and feedback analysis to improve product usability
• Create information architecture and interaction design for web and mobile applications
• Identify usability issues and propose data-driven design improvements
• User Interface (UI)
• Design modern, responsive, and visually engaging interfaces for web and mobile platforms
• Develop high-fidelity mock-ups and design systems aligned with product guidelines
• Ensure consistent design standards, typography, colour schemes, and layouts
• Collaborate with PD team to ensure accurate implementation of designs
• Design visualizations for engineering KPIs, performance metrics, and operational insights
• Collaboration
• Collaborate with Product Manager, CTO, CEO, Business Analysts, and Engineering team and translate their requirements or ideas into product design
• Participate in design reviews and brainstorming sessions and product discussions
• Conduct external users feedback sessions and incorporate improvements in product UI/UX to boost usability

Requirements

Education and Skills

• Design Skills
• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles, usability, and interaction design
• Experience in wireframing, prototyping, and user journey mapping
• Knowledge of design systems and responsive design Tools

Experience with any of the below tools

• Figma
• Adobe XD
• Sketch
• InVision / ProtoPie / Axure (optional)
• Technical Understanding
• Basic understanding front-end product development concepts
• Experience in design of web and mobile applications

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in design, computer Science or related field

Good to Have

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in UI/UX design
• Experience of UI/UX design for software related to engineering analysis field or AEC domain will be an added advantage
• Experience in web-based product companies or cloud based SaaS platforms will be an added advantage
• Familiarity with design systems and component libraries
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG)
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
