About the Role

We are looking for a security engineer to join our security operations team, focusing on the technical aspects of information security across cloud and SaaS environments.

The team is responsible for monitoring live environments, identifying and responding to security alerts, and supporting incident investigations. This role is part of the Security Operations function, which owns the process from alert detection through investigation and escalation.

You will work closely with senior security engineers to monitor systems, investigate security events, and improve detection capabilities. The role includes hands-on work with enterprise security tools and participation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where priorities can shift based on emerging threats.

Requirements:

Preferred Skills and Experience

• 1–2 years of hands-on experience in a cybersecurity role, preferably in Security Operations (SOC or similar)
• Experience working with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, or cloud security platforms
• Basic understanding of security monitoring, alert investigation, and incident response processes
• Familiarity with cloud environments and security concepts (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of common attack techniques and attacker behavior
• Ability to analyze alerts and escalate findings with clear context
• Strong attention to detail and structured thinking
• Good communication and documentation skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks

Main Responsibilities

• Monitor and investigate security alerts across cloud and SaaS environments
• Analyze findings and escalate potential security incidents with proper context
• Support incident response activities including evidence collection and documentation
• Work with security tools such as SIEM, EDR, CSPM, Email Security, and IAM platforms
• Identify basic security gaps and misconfigurations and support remediation efforts
• Assist in improving detection capabilities and reducing false positives
• Participate in threat hunting activities with senior team members
• Support onboarding and implementation of new security tools
• Collaborate with Engineering and DevOps teams to support security requirements
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Stay up to date with emerging threats and escalate relevant findings
