Product Design Intern

Position Overview:
As a Product Design Intern, you will assist the design team in creating engaging and intuitive product designs. You will work on real-world projects, participate in design discussions, and contribute your creative ideas to help improve user experience and product functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the Design Team: Work closely with product designers and engineers to create design concepts and prototypes for new products and features.
• Wireframing & Prototyping: Assist in creating wireframes, mockups, and prototypes for product interfaces, ensuring a seamless user experience.
• User Research: Help conduct user research, including surveys, interviews, and usability testing, to gather insights and apply findings to design solutions.
• Visual Design: Develop high-quality visual designs and assets, including icons, illustrations, and UI components.
• Feedback and Iteration: Participate in design critiques, provide feedback, and iterate on designs based on team input and user testing results.
• Design Documentation: Help maintain design documentation, including style guides, user flows, and design specifications, to ensure consistency across products.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work alongside product managers, engineers, and marketing teams to ensure design vision aligns with product goals and brand identity.

Requirements:

• Education: Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Product Design, Interaction Design, Graphic Design, or a related field.
• Skills:
• Proficiency in design tools like Adobe XD, Sketch, Figma, or similar.
• Strong understanding of design principles, user-centered design, and visual hierarchy.
• Experience or familiarity with prototyping and wireframing tools.
• Portfolio: A portfolio showcasing your design work, including any relevant projects or internships.
• Team Player: Ability to collaborate effectively with different teams and adapt to changing requirements.
• Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Curiosity and Passion: A keen interest in product design, user experience, and innovation.
