What are we looking for?

We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IAM Security Engineer to join our Security team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing identity and access management solutions across the organization. You will work closely with IT, DevOps, and business application teams to ensure secure and seamless access to systems using modern identity protocols and platforms such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.

How will you make an impact?

• Design, implement, and manage identity and access management solutions using Okta and Microsoft Entra ID.
• Configure and maintain Single Sign-On (SSO) integrations using standard protocols such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
• Implement and manage automated user provisioning and deprovisioning using SCIM.
• Support and enhance identity lifecycle management processes (Joiner, Mover, Leaver).
• Design and enforce Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) models aligned with least privilege principles.
• Troubleshoot and resolve authentication, authorization, and SSO-related issues across SaaS and internal applications.
• Collaborate with application owners to onboard new applications into IAM platforms.
• Monitor and improve SaaS security posture by ensuring proper access controls, configurations, and governance practices.
• Maintain IAM documentation, including integration guides, access models, and operational runbooks.
• Work with security and compliance teams to support audits and ensure adherence to access control policies.
• Participate in incident response activities related to identity and access security.
• Continuously evaluate and improve IAM processes, automation, and security controls.

What is needed to succeed?

Must Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
• 3-4 years of experience in Identity and Access Management or a similar security engineering role.
• Hands-on experience with IAM platforms such as Okta and Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD).
• Strong understanding of authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0, OpenID Connect).
• Experience with SCIM-based provisioning and identity lifecycle automation.
• Understanding of RBAC, least privilege, and access governance principles.
• Familiarity with SaaS application integrations and access management.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for authentication flows and access-related issues.
• Basic understanding of security concepts such as MFA, conditional access, and identity threats.
• Good documentation and communication skills with attention to detail.

Desired Qualifications (Optional):

• Experience with SaaS Security Posture Management (SSPM) concepts and tools.
• Exposure to scripting or automation (PowerShell, Python).
• Familiarity with directory services (Active Directory, LDAP).
• Experience working in cloud environments (Azure, AWS, GCP).
• Relevant certifications such as Okta Certified Professional, Microsoft SC-300, or similar.
