CCTech's mission is to transform human life by the democratization of technology. We are a well established digital transformation company building the applications in the areas of CAD, CFD, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, 3D Webapps, Augmented Reality, Digital Twin, and other enterprise applications.
We have two business divisions: product and consulting.
simulationHub is our flagship product and the manifestation of our vision. Currently, thousands of users use our CFD app in their upfront design process.
Our consulting division, with its partners such as Autodesk Forge, AWS and Azure, is helping the world's leading engineering organizations, many of which are Fortune 500 list of companies, in achieving digital supremacy.
Job Description
We are seeking a detail-oriented architecture or engineering student or recent graduate (diploma or bachelor's) for a highly focused, 2-month internship. As a specialized BIM Modeller for our R&D team, you will construct targeted 3D models in Autodesk Revit to test,
validate, and optimize the data translation workflows within our simulationHub environments. You will work closely with software developers and QA engineers, building specificarchitectural scenarios to ensure that geometry, space boundaries, and parameter data are
accurately extracted and translated by our software. Key Responsibilities
- BIM Modelling
- Build custom 3D models in Autodesk Revit specifically designed to replicate complex architectural scenarios (e.g., multi-level atriums, curtain walls, custom shading devices, and intricate roof geometries).
- Create meticulous test cases focusing on Revit "Rooms" and "Spaces," ensuring that room-bounding elements, area calculations, and volume computations are perfectly defined.
- Export Revit models to interoperability formats to verify structural and geometric data integrity.
- Data Management & Reporting
- Populate and manipulate Revit parameters to test data extraction accuracy.
- Perform model health checks and clean-ups to ensure files are lightweight, organized, and free of modelling errors.
- Maintain an organized, well-documented library of Revit test files, clearly outlining what specific geometric or data condition each file is designed to test.
Requirements
- Currently enrolled in, or a recent graduate of a Dipolma/Bachelor program in Architecture, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong, practical working knowledge of Autodesk Revit.
- Proven ability to work accurately with Revit Rooms, Spaces, analytical models, and room-bounding elements.
- Exceptional attention to detail and a curiosity for figuring out how software interprets and breaks down architectural geometry.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with industry interoperability schemas.
- Understanding of how Revit handles material properties and thermal assets.
- Soft Skills
- Strong attention to detail and a quality-focused mindset.
- Clear communication with technical teams to document step-by-step processes and bug reports.
- Proactive, collaborative, and adaptable learner.
- Ownership-driven approach toward completing tasks and organizing test data.
Benefits
- Opportunity to work with a dynamic and fast-paced engineering IT organization.
- Be part of a company that is passionate about transforming product development with technology.
