Job Title: Software Test Engineer (Fresher)

Location: Chennai

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Software Test Engineer (Fresher) to join our QA team. This role is ideal for recent graduates who are passionate about software quality, testing, and ensuring seamless user experiences.

Key Responsibilities

• Understand project requirements and software specifications
• Design, develop, and execute test cases and test scenarios
• Perform manual testing of web and/or mobile applications
• Identify, document, and track bugs using defect tracking tools
• Collaborate with developers to resolve issues
• Perform regression testing after bug fixes
• Participate in test planning and review meetings
• Ensure product quality before deployment

Required Skills

• Basic knowledge of Software Testing concepts (STLC, SDLC)
• Understanding of manual testing techniques
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic knowledge of SQL and databases

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Knowledge of automation tools like Selenium
• Basic programming knowledge (Java / Python)
• Familiarity with bug tracking tools like Jira or Bugzilla
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodology

Educational Qualification

• B.E / B.Tech (CSE, IT, ECE) ,MCA,MSC(IT,Computer Science)
