Role Overview
We are seeking a data-driven and detail-oriented Compensation Analyst to join our Total Rewards team in Bengaluru. In this role, you will be instrumental in ensuring our pay practices remain competitive, equitable, and aligned with our global growth strategy. You will serve as a subject matter expert on market trends, job architecture, and the execution of our annual rewards cycle.
Key Responsibilities
- Market Intelligence: Lead the end-to-end participation in global salary surveys (e.g., Aon Radford, Mercer, WTW). This includes data mapping, submission, and analyzing results to identify market movement.
- Salary Range Development: Design and maintain competitive salary structures and pay grades. You will use market data to build and refresh ranges that support our hiring and retention goals.
- Job Architecture: Support the maintenance of our global job catalog. You will evaluate new and existing roles, ensuring they are leveled correctly within our internal framework.
- Annual Cycle Management: Act as a core contributor to the year-end Base Salary, Bonus, and Equity planning process. This includes preparing manager workbooks, auditing recommendations, and ensuring budget compliance.
- Data Analytics: Create and maintain complex compensation models. You will provide "what-if" cost analyses for leadership to support headcount planning and pay-for-performance initiatives.
- Collaboration: Partner with HR Business Partners and Talent Acquisition on compensation-related matters, including offer and promotion recommendations.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Mathematics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of dedicated experience in Compensation or People Analytics, preferably within a fast-paced technology sector or global shared-services environment. Knowledge of compensation principles, market pricing, and salary structures.
- Technical Savvy: Expert-level proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets. You must be comfortable managing large datasets using advanced formulas, Pivot Tables, and XLOOKUPs.
- HRIS Systems: Proficiency with HRIS platforms such as ADP, Workday, Dayforce, or UKG. Experience with ADP is specifically advantageous as we navigate our current infrastructure.
- Analytical Mindset: Ability to translate raw data into actionable insights and present findings clearly to stakeholders.
High Integrity: Proven ability to maintain strict confidentiality and accuracy when handling sensitive employee payroll and equity data.
